DENVER, Colo., May 1, 2026 — A beloved Mile High tradition reaches a major milestone this summer as the 60th Annual Denver Greek Festival returns June 5–7, 2026, at the Assumption of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Cathedral. One of Colorado’s longest-running and most vibrant cultural celebrations, the festival continues to bring together community, heritage, and hospitality for a weekend that transports visitors to Greece—right in the heart of Denver.
Last year marked the festival’s largest attendance ever—and for its 60th anniversary, organizers have elevated the entire experience. Guests can expect more space, faster service, and better flow throughout the festival, with thoughtful improvements designed to make every part of the event more enjoyable—from arrival to the last dance.
Getting to the festival is easier than ever, with new off-site parking and shuttle service, dedicated rideshare zones, and bike racks. Entry has been streamlined with separate ticket lanes for online and on-site purchases, encouraging guests to purchase in advance for the fastest access.
Inside the festival, visitors will find a significantly expanded footprint, creating more room to explore, dine, and celebrate. Food service has been upgraded across the board, including multiple gyro stations, expanded kitchen capacity, and new equipment to deliver faster service and enhanced quality for fan favorites like gyros, spanakopita, and kalamari.
New and expanded dining options include additional covered outdoor seating and a brand-new indoor taverna dining experience, offering a comfortable place to sit, savor, and gather. The festival also features an expanded Greek Plaka marketplace, with 18 vendors offering handcrafted goods, jewelry, and authentic imports from Greece.
Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy the sights and sounds of Greece with live bouzouki music, traditional dance performances, and new indoor dance demonstrations and lessons, along with cultural experiences such as church tours, cooking demonstrations, and family-friendly activities. Festivalgoers can also cool off with Greek frappes, desserts, and specialty treats throughout the grounds.
“Celebrating 60 years of the Denver Greek Festival is a remarkable milestone for our community,” said Father Jordan Brown, Presiding Priest at the Assumption Cathedral. “This festival is more than an event—it’s a living expression of our faith, culture, and philoxenia, our tradition of warm hospitality. We’re honored to share it with the city of Denver.”
Visitors of all ages are invited to indulge in a wide array of authentic Greek cuisine, from savory classics like pastitsio and souvlaki to sweet favorites like baklava and loukoumades, paired with Greek wines, beer, and traditional spirits.
Admission is $5 for an all-day pass, $3 for seniors, and free for children under 12. Tickets are available online and at the event.
Festival hours are Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
